"I wanted to do something before I kicked into music," Gomez says.
"I have music more prints and colorful things ... But when I do movies I tone it down," Gomez says.
"Sometimes it just catches up to you," Gomez says.
"She's supported me from the first record to this one," Gomez says of Taylor Swift.
"It's basically just about having this moment and not rushing it," Gomez says.
"I love to dance, and I love to make people dance," Gomez says.
"Even with the inspiration through the outfits and the performance, she's a huge inspiration when it comes to performing," Gomez says of her 2013 Movie Awards performance.
